Got a counter-offer — should I take it? (Kathmandu, mid-level)

Resigned to take a 35% raise elsewhere. Current employer countered with 30% + lead role.

Read 100 articles saying “never accept counter-offers.” Most of those articles are about US tech. Does that hold in Nepal?

My gut says go, because the new role has clearer growth. But every senior person I know in Kathmandu took a counter at some point. Real experiences welcome.
