Will the National Integrity Audit + protest-deaths commission reports be made public?

Short answer: Both have been promised publicly; as of May 2026, neither full report has been released. Civic groups continue to demand publication.

Where pressure sits.

  • Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have publicly called for the protest-deaths commission report.
  • Domestic civic organisations have filed RTI requests.
  • Court directions on disclosure are pending in several related matters.

The exception most miss. Even when released, partial-redaction is the more likely outcome than full disclosure. Read what is released, file specific RTIs for the omitted parts.

What would you want named in either report?
